| Purpose | Legal basis |
|---|---|
| Account creation and management, couple pairing | Performance of contract |
| Display and sharing of moments, photos, locations between the two members of the couple | Performance of contract |
| Sending push notifications | Consent (can be enabled/disabled) |
| Anonymous product analytics (service improvement) | Legitimate interest |
| Security and abuse prevention | Legitimate interest |
Content you create (moments, photos, locations, notes) is, by design, shared with the other member of your couple. This means your partner has access to all of this content. This feature is core to how the App functions and cannot be disabled for a given piece of content once it has been posted to the shared nid.
We rely on the following providers to operate the App:
| Provider | Role | Data location |
|---|---|---|
| Supabase | Database hosting, authentication, private photo storage | Canada |
| OneSignal | Push notifications (always discreet, no content or name in the message) | Per OneSignal infrastructure |
| PostHog | Product analytics, no session replay, no content capture — only anonymous usage counters (never notes, locations, photos, or names) | Per PostHog infrastructure |
| Mapbox | Map display and geocoding of locations | Per Mapbox infrastructure |
| Apple | Sign in with Apple, App Store distribution | Per Apple infrastructure |
We do not engage in cross-app tracking, do not request ATT tracking permission, run no advertising, and do not sell data to third parties.
To the extent any of these providers may process data outside Canada, we take steps to ensure they provide appropriate data protection safeguards consistent with applicable requirements.
