These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern access to and use of the mobile application "Nid" (the "App"), an intimate journal designed for couples, available exclusively on iOS.
The App is developed and operated on a personal, non-commercial basis (independent hobby project) by Mickael Alias, based in Québec, Canada (referred to as "we" or "the operator").
By creating an account or using the App, you fully accept these Terms. If you do not accept them, you must not use the App.
Nid is strictly reserved for adults (18 years of age or older). An age-verification and Terms-acceptance screen is mandatory at sign-up. By confirming you are 18 or older, you represent and warrant that this information is accurate. Registration by a minor is prohibited and constitutes a violation of these Terms, which may result in immediate account deletion.
Nid allows two users forming a couple to share a private space including:
The two members of a couple are linked through a 6-character invitation code, generated by one user and used by the other to join the shared "nid."
The App is currently 100% free: no in-app purchases, no subscriptions, no advertising.
4.1. Account creation is available via "Sign in with Apple" or email and password.
4.2. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for any activity conducted through your account.
4.3. The App offers local access protection via Face ID or passcode, as well as a discreet mode that hides photos on screen. These mechanisms protect access to your device; they do not replace your own diligence regarding your phone's security.
4.4. Your data stays private and is reserved for your couple: access to shared content is technically restricted, server-side, to the two members associated with the same "nid."
